About

Established in 2017 as the residential Arizona campus of Ottawa University, OUAZ is best known for combining a faith-based liberal arts education with strong, career-oriented programs in business administration, exercise science, education, and biology. Campus life is close-knit, energetic, and heavily athletic-driven, with a large portion of the student body participating in NAIA varsity sports under the OUAZ Spirit banner. A distinctive hallmark of the student experience is the university's "Personal Growth Days," dedicated weekly programming outside the traditional classroom that focuses on leadership development, spiritual growth, and career readiness alongside its integration with the Surprise Civic Center.
