About

Thomas Aquinas College is best known for its rigorous Great Books curriculum, which entirely replaces traditional textbooks, lectures, and conventional majors with Socratic discussions focused on original texts of Western civilization. All students complete the same integrated four-year program to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts, deeply immersing themselves in classical philosophy, Catholic theology, mathematics, literature, and natural sciences. Campus life is intimately close-knit and devoutly Roman Catholic, anchored by daily Mass, rich intellectual fellowship, and a picturesque setting in the Santa Paula foothills.

Wikipedia:Thomas Aquinas College is a private Catholic liberal arts college in the United States with two campuses, one in Santa Paula, California, and one in Northfield, Massachusetts. The college was founded in 1971 and is named for St. Thomas Aquinas, a thirteenth-century scholar and Catholic theologian. All students pursue a Bachelor of Arts centered on a common curriculum.
