About

Founded in 1886 by evangelist Dwight L. Moody in downtown Chicago, Moody Bible Institute is renowned for preparing students for ministry through strong programs in Biblical Studies, Pastoral Ministries, Intercultural Studies, and Sacred Music. Campus life is deeply Christ-centered and service-oriented, fostering a tight-knit community where students regularly engage in chapel services and practical ministry assignments across the city. A major hallmark of the undergraduate experience is Moody’s historic tuition-grant model, which provides full-tuition scholarships to all admitted full-time Chicago residential students to help them graduate without ministry-hindering debt.
