About

Located in Halifax, Canada, Dalhousie University is widely recognized as one of the country’s leading research-intensive universities, with particular academic acclaim in marine biology, oceanography, agriculture, and sustainability studies. Its strongest faculties include computer science, engineering, and health professions, all of which benefit from the region's vibrant coastal environment and burgeoning tech sector. International students make up a significant portion of the campus community, drawing on a robust suite of English-taught programs and dedicated support services provided by the Dalhousie International Centre, which helps with everything from immigration advising to cultural integration. A particularly distinctive characteristic of the university is its integration of hands-on, community-focused learning, allowing students across disciplines to engage directly with Atlantic Canada’s unique socio-economic and natural landscapes.
