Its jurisdiction includes all eleven districts of Vidarbha namely Akola, Amravati, Bhandara, Buldhana, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Gondia, Nagpur, Washim, Wardha and Yavatmal. The Central Campus is at Akola while another major campus is at Nagpur and a new campus has been established at Gadchiroli.
