About

Located in Tartu, Estonia, the Estonian University of Life Sciences is the country's only university dedicated to the sustainable development of natural resources and the preservation of heritage and habitat. Academically, the institution is best known for its world-class research and teaching in veterinary medicine, agriculture, forestry, and environmental sciences. International students will find a welcoming community supported by a dedicated International Student Office that assists with orientation, visa coordination, and integration events. While many bachelor's programs are taught in Estonian, the university offers several specialized master's degrees fully taught in English, particularly in landscape architecture and environmental governance. A distinctive characteristic of the university is its integration of historic estate architecture with modern, high-tech research facilities, including extensive experimental farms and forestry stations that offer hands-on, practical learning right in the field.
