Katholische Universität Eichstätt

About

Located in Eichstätt, Germany, the Katholische Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt is renowned for its strong humanities, social sciences, and economics programs, all grounded in a distinctive values-oriented academic tradition. As Germany's only Catholic university, it offers an intimate, campus-based learning environment where students benefit from small class sizes and close interaction with faculty. The International Office actively supports incoming global learners through welcome weeks, German language courses, and dedicated advisory services designed to ease the transition into German academic life. While many undergraduate degrees are taught in German, the university increasingly expands its selection of English-taught modules and degree tracks, particularly at the master's level. A distinctive characteristic of the institution is its picturesque baroque campus nestled in the Altmühltal Nature Park, providing a tranquil yet vibrant community atmosphere just an hour north of Munich.
