About

Located in scenic Iowa Falls along the Iowa River, Ellsworth Community College (ECC) is a vibrant two-year institution best known for its career-focused degrees in agriculture, equine management, conservation technology, and nursing, as well as seamless transfer pathways to four-year universities. ECC stands out for its specialized resources, including a premier equestrian center and active agricultural labs, alongside a storied NJCAA athletic tradition. Unlike many two-year schools, Ellsworth offers a fully residential campus experience, fostering a close-knit, active community where students live in on-campus housing and engage deeply in student clubs, athletics, and hands-on learning.

Wikipedia:Ellsworth Community College is a public community college in Iowa Falls, Iowa. It was founded as Ellsworth College in 1890 by Eugene S. Ellsworth. Originally a private business academy, it later became a four-year college, a music conservatory, and a public junior college before being absorbed into the Iowa Valley Community College District in 1968.
