The Michigan School of Psychology (MSP) is a specialized, private graduate institution renowned for its humanistic approach to mental health education and its dedicated focus on experiential, practitioner-scholar training. The school offers rigorous clinical training centered entirely on psychological sciences, with its Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology and Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology serving as its flagship programs. Campus culture is tight-knit, collaborative, and tailored for mature, service-oriented graduate students who benefit from small cohort sizes and extensive direct faculty mentorship. Setting MSP apart is its on-site training facility, the Michigan Center for Psychology, alongside its core philosophy of the "educator-practitioner" model, which requires all teaching faculty to maintain active clinical practices.
