Adler Graduate School is best known for its specialized, practitioner-focused master’s degrees and certificate programs rooted in the holistic philosophy of Alfred Adler. The institution’s strongest offerings center on clinical mental health counseling, art therapy, school counseling, and co-occurring disorders, all designed to prepare students for professional licensure. Because it primarily serves adult and non-traditional learners, the campus culture is collaborative and career-driven, offering flexible hybrid and evening scheduling rather than traditional undergraduate-style student life. A defining characteristic of the school is its enduring focus on Adlerian concepts—such as community feeling (*Gemeinschaftsgefühl*) and social interest—which directly shape its emphasis on social justice, mental health advocacy, and community-based healing.
