About

Bard College at Simon’s Rock is the nation’s only four-year residential early college, uniquely designed for intellectually motivated students who leave high school after the tenth or eleventh grade to begin their undergraduate degrees early. The academic experience centers on rigorous, discussion-based seminars with particular strengths in the natural sciences, interdisciplinary arts, creative writing, and the social sciences. Campus life on its intimate, scenic grounds fosters a close-knit, non-traditional community of independent thinkers and precocious scholars who thrive in an inclusive, highly collaborative environment.
