The Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia is one of the world’s premier and most selective classical conservatories, uniquely renowned for its all-scholarship policy that provides full-tuition support to every admitted student. The institute offers exceptionally rigorous training in orchestral instruments, piano, voice and opera, conducting, and composition, centering its curriculum on a "learn by doing" performance philosophy. With an intimate community of only around 175 students, campus life is intensely focused and collaborative, offering young artists unprecedented access to world-class faculty and frequent stage experience through the Curtis Symphony Orchestra and Curtis Opera Theatre.
