About

Wilkes University is a private doctoral institution in northeastern Pennsylvania renowned for its high-impact professional and STEM programs, most notably through the Nesbitt School of Pharmacy, the Passan School of Nursing, and accredited degrees in engineering and business. The university distinguishes itself by blending the research opportunities of a larger institution with the individualized mentorship of a small liberal arts college, emphasizing faculty-guided undergraduate research and early hands-on clinical and fieldwork. Campus life is close-knit and active, centered on a historic riverfront campus where students participate heavily in NCAA Division III athletics, local community engagement, and over 80 student-run organizations.
