About

Welch College is a private Christian institution affiliated with the National Association of Free Will Baptists, best known for integrating a biblical worldview across its curriculum to prepare students for both church ministry and professional careers. Its strongest academic programs include theological studies, teacher education, nursing, and business administration, all centered around a required foundational core in biblical studies. Campus culture is tight-knit, deeply faith-centered, and characterized by mandatory chapel services, active ministry outreach, and a supportive, close community on its modern suburban campus in Gallatin. A key distinctive of Welch is its debt-conscious mission and small student body, ensuring an exceptionally low student-to-faculty ratio where professors serve as personal academic and spiritual mentors.
